Client Terms and Conditions

This document must be read in conjunction with Eteri McKenzie’s Client GDPR Policy, which contains important details about confidentiality and how your data will be handled. The Client GDPR Policy can be read here.

Therapist Details:

General
Eteri aims to provide the highest levels of service, treating clients with respect and care, and working collaboratively and professionally. While hypnosis is powerful, client commitment is essential. Listening to downloads, reflecting on session content, and being open to change are key parts of the process.

Eteri McKenzie is a member of the AfSFH, CNHC, and NCH, and adheres to their publicly available codes of conduct.

Important: Eteri is not medically trained and cannot diagnose medical conditions. Hypnotherapy should not replace mainstream medical treatment. If you have concerns about your health, symptoms, or suitability for hypnotherapy, please consult your GP or a qualified medical professional.

Session Duration
Most sessions last 50–55 minutes, though clients should allow one hour. Sessions will not exceed 60 minutes unless otherwise agreed, as other clients may be waiting.

If you arrive late, your session time will be reduced, but the full fee will still apply.

Session Payment
Current fees are available on Eteri McKenzie’s website.

Payments are typically taken at the end of each session and can be made by card (preferred) or cash. Bank transfers may be used but must be completed on the same day as the session.

Cheques are not accepted unless agreed in advance. Receipts/invoices can be provided upon request.

Session Cancellation Fees

  • More than two working days’ notice: No fee.
  • Less than two but more than one working day’s notice: 50% cancellation fee.
  • Less than one working day’s notice: 75% cancellation fee.

Non-Attendance
Missed sessions without notice must be paid in full before further appointments can be booked.

Contact Between Sessions
Contact between appointments is not typically required unless an appointment needs to be rescheduled. In such cases, please contact Eteri McKenzie via text or phone.

Online Clients Based Outside the UK
Eteri McKenzie is based in the UK and operates under UK jurisdiction.
